HRH Prince Charles | INverurie
Inverurie BID and partner organisations were delighted to welcome His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay to Inverurie on Tuesday 5th October 2021.
Arriving at the Memorial Garden HRH met Graham Matthews; Ian Sinclair (Sinclairs Jewellers); Derek Ritchie (Inverurie BID Manager); Ian Thain (Inverurie Events); Victoria Withy (Inverurie Business Association); Keenon Hawkins (Royal British Legion); Ian Mitchell and John Glover (Inverurie Environmental).
Following which, Ron Reid of Inverurie Farmers Market chaperoned HRH to the following market stalls: Ingram’s Home-Cure; Wark Farm Pies; Udny Provender; Go Opportunities/Inverurie Community Allotments.
HRH then visited some businesses in Market Place, namely WM Bruce, Gibbs Menswear, Strachans Inverurie, The Kilted Frog & John Davidson Butchers.
Prior to his departure from the Town Centre, HRH was presented with a bottle of whisky from representatives from We Are Inverurie BID.
The visit ended with a tour of the Garioch Heritage Centre where HRH presented the Garioch Community Kitchen with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
