GIBC Celebrates World No.1 Jason Banks with Special Open Day
Here at We Are Inverurie BID, we love celebrating the amazing success stories within our local business community—and the Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre (GIBC) has provided us with an incredible reason to cheer!
GIBC, a valued BID member business, recently made headlines after officially renaming their stadium the Jason Banks Arena, in honour of local bowls superstar Jason Banks, who has risen spectacularly to become the World No.1 bowler and an astonishing triple World Champion.
Now, they're inviting everyone along to a special event—the Jason Banks Adult Open Day, happening on Sunday, May 4th. This unique day promises excitement, celebration, and fun for everyone, regardless of bowling experience.
Visitors can meet Jason in person, enjoy a sit-down interview filled with stories, tips, and insights, and even receive hands-on coaching from Jason himself along with fellow bowls talent Carla Banks. There's also buffet food, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy at the beautifully refurbished Jason Banks Arena.
This fantastic event offers two convenient sessions:
