POI 24 | JAS Counselling
"James has continued to work towards improving the lives of young people in the area, offering councilling and guidance to young persons, struggling with a variety of issues. He does so professionally, receives great feedback and has changed the lives of many young people, committing time, listening and finding ways to process and deal with their concerns. James shows commitment to this role, whilst working in his Full Time role, serving the public and spending time with his young family."
"James has provided over 10 years service in the emergency services and is a well recognised individual within the Inverurie community. James identified an area of work that he enjoyed and successfully launched his career in JAS Counselling whereby he has worked with youths and adults suffering with various anxieties and behavioural issues that was having an impact on them daily. He shows compassion and empathy in his role, supporting people when they are at their most vulnerable. Mental health is recognised hugely amongst family, friends and the community. It can have a big impact on an individuals life, something that has been observed first hand by James throughout his service in the Public Sector. JAS Counselling is an opportunity to talk openly, to set and achieve goals, with you and your feelings always being the most important factor. Recently, James has reached out to local businesses seeking funds for individuals that require support through JAS Counselling but may not otherwise afford it which has been a huge help. Having an individual believe that they will have a brighter future can been challenging, however, James has proven in his work that with the guidance and support, a happy and brighter future can be achieved. James is supporting the wellbeing of an individual and guiding them to a positive mindset which should be recognised."
"James Stewart continues to offer support services and counselling for all ages in Inverurie, whilst also in additional full time employment. He offers a diverse service for those in need and has made a very positive impact on the community of Inverurie. His hard work and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others should be recognised."
